				Metals & Alloys BFi OPTiLAS is a key European source for advanced metals and alloys, from “exotic” lightweight metals and alloys, such as Beryllium, Aluminium-Beryllium , Aluminium-Silicon alloys, to refractory metals and alloys including Tantalum, Niobium, Tungsten, Molybdenum, Rhenium, Iridium … Our mission is to promote advanced materials to high-tech markets such as : Space , Avionics, Aeronautical, Optical and Nuclear, and to supply these specialist industries with materials which meet the very demanding specifications these applications require.
		We can supply material in many forms : as finished product (components machined according to a drawing, or 'as cast' parts) , in standard semi-finished form (rod, plate, sheet...) or in special forms (very thin foils, wires, ribbon, wire cloth...)
		Materials for Electronic Applications To meet the demands of the electronic packaging industry, facing the trend towards always faster and higher frequency communications, and searching for higher reliability packaging solutions, the Metals and Materials Division of BFi OPTiLAS promotes light weight, controlled expansion alloys, high thermal conductivity alloys and high thermal conductivity ceramics for substrate, heat sink and packaging applications.
		The Metals & Materials division is also an emerging force in the supply of thick film materials, encapsulation resins, and high-conductivity materials for die attach and bonding.
		The Metals and Materials division is available in the French office only.
